I founded Vision of Discoveries to create opportunities I didn’t always have growing up. Raised in a close, supportive family, we relied heavily on one another, but we still faced financial challenges and a lack of access to resources that could have helped shape our futures. I saw firsthand how many young adults, like myself, have potential but limited exposure to the experiences and guidance needed to fully discover who they are. That inspired me to build an organization that provides mentorship, life skills, and access to creative and practical opportunities—from the arts to career preparation—so others can explore their interests, build confidence, and realize that their circumstances do not define their possibilities.

I joined Vision of Discoveries as Chief Operating Officer because its mission deeply reflects my own life experience and values. Growing up with limited financial resources, I understand firsthand how a lack of access to opportunities can make it difficult for young adults to explore their full potential. Although my family was close-knit and we relied on one another for support, there were still gaps in exposure, guidance, and resources that could have made a meaningful difference. Vision of Discoveries represents the kind of organization I wish I had growing up—one that provides mentorship, encouragement, and access to diverse paths such as the arts, sports, and essential life skills. I believe strongly in its purpose because it not only supports young adults in discovering who they are, but also equips them with the confidence and tools to build a future beyond their circumstances.
